An amazing statement necklace made up of 27 individually handmade pom poms in fairtrade, naturally dyed organic wool (from cotton).
Each piece is handmade (by me!) to order.
The pom poms are attached to curved wires (which hold the shape of the necklace) and topped at each end with a gorgeous glazed ceramic bead (specially handmade for me by Karen at Hodge Podge Arts: www.etsy.com/shop/hodgepodgearts).
The necklace ties with a long wool plait, so can be worn at just the right length for you.
The contrast of the beautifully shiny glazed ceramic beads to the super soft organic cotton wool makes these necklaces truly stunning!
Dirty Flamingo combines pom poms primarily in soft white, flecked with patches of black, coral red and yellowish sap green. The outer row is in midnight black and each row is topped with acid yellow glazed beads.
